In September 1997, the first sawmill was officially inaugurated with an area of 10,000 m2, achieving a monthly production output of 2,000 m3. It was also here that in 2000, HATC (NEBU TIMBER) was recognized by the Cameroonn government as one of the reputable and top-quality wood export brands in the forestry industry.

In 2005, HATC (NEBU TIMBER) expanded its manufacturing plant to cover an area of 15,000m2, simultaneously equipping it with modern machinery and advanced large saw blades to enhance productivity and product quality. As a result, the production output of HATC (NEBU TIMBER) increased to 10,000 m3 per month. This expansion facilitated successful exports to over 30 countries worldwide, including China, the United States, the European Union, South Korea, and others.

Recognizing the escalating demand for raw timber and furniture production, in April 2010, HATC (NEBU TIMBER) further expanded with the addition of 2 more workshops and 1 large storage warehouse. Each workshop had an area of up to 15,000 m2 and a capacity of 20,000 m3 per month. This expansion not only enabled the company to meet the growing market demands but also affirmed its position as one of the leading manufacturers in the industry.

Subsequently, by the end of 2020, NEBU TIMBER’s largest workshop covering an area of 30,000m3 commenced operations. Equipped with 5 large saw blades operating at full capacity, the workshop had a supply output of 25,000m3 per month. It was not only fully furnished with modern production equipment but also designed to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance labor efficiency.

Currently, NEBU TIMBER employs over 100 highly skilled and experienced workers who undergo rigorous training in production techniques and occupational safety. All timber extraction and processing processes at HATC (NEBU TIMBER) are meticulously managed and inspected to ensure quality and moisture levels comply with the regulations of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
